Surgical Lessons on Qeema Bhare Karailay

In the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too) those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed"

So said Charles Darwin.

You won't normally associate bitter gourds with surgery but there was no electricity and we had nothing else to do. So abbu and I decided to adapt and improvise and I ended up learning how to tie surgical knots on karailay; and as I like to believe, saved ammi from a lot of hassle.

It's not easy at all. The completed knot has to be firm but excessive tension breaks the suture and cuts the tissue. A big knot is a cosmetic no-no. The final tie has to be horizontal for better grip etc etc etc. And as a doc de nouveau my knots were pretty ugly. As you can see:

No beginner's luck for me, I guess.

Hi there,
For a beginner it seems good, quite an effort.....NICE WORK.
Practice makes a man perfect coz women are already so.......
