Hur ek din udaas din; tamaam shab udaasiyaan..

Tell me, does that happen to you too? You wake up and brush your teeth and you don't know why. You slap your cheeks with the aftershave. You look in the mirror and you look away. Get dressed. And look in the mirror. Again. Breathe in you tummy. Do I look okay, today? Too tight, eh! And you shake your head.
Munch. Munch. Munch. Bread slices like wood. Egg? Rubber! Jam? Forget it!
You go through the day just like that. Put on a smile. Talk loud. Crack jokes. Never once feeling like it all. At all.

All this while, thinking. What that other person would be thinking. Doing. Saying. Anything about you? Any passing thoughts? Is there something behind the distance? A bafflement, perhaps? Absence? Something? Anything?

Tell me, does that happen to you too?

Yeah. It's "that time of the year again"...restless nights. listless days. skewed circadian rhythm? cortisol? a very curious mind?

and the distance.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Not on the intensity of something remaining ALWAYS on my mind... because I guess I have some set ways figured out which overrides these thoughts, effectively kill them (at least for some certain time duration) and leave with...

eh.. not peace. But certainly not these thoughts :D

Oh yeah.. cut the aftershave :D
